Amen! What is it that keeps you in bondage? What is it that you are willing to let Jesus take with him to the Cross and let die there?

Bondage and memory are powerful things in our lives. We don’t often let ourselves open the memories to Jesus… exposing the sores to the light and thus to healing. The Cross is indeed the power… we don’t call it Good Friday of nothing. It is the Cross that puts feet to our faith… where we come face to face with God’s abundant love.

I like to think of it as “Re-Membering”… as in re-uniting… becoming whole again. Without the memories wholeness is not possible.

Amazing Grace, how sweet it is, that saved a wretch like me… how sweet the love of God.

What is it that keeps me in bondage, or you, or the person next door… when freedom, wholeness is just there, waiting…
